Meet Krish Anders, AFC\u00ae<\/h2>

Hi, I\u2019m Krish and like many people I did not learn about how to manage finances when growing up. Often our parents either didn\u2019t learn to themselves or they feel uncomfortable talking about it with their children. As a result a lot of us enter adulthood knowing we need to take care of our finances, but not really knowing how.\u00a0

My young adult financial life included going to college, getting student loans and getting credit cards (of course, because that\u2019s what I had seen my parents do). I really didn\u2019t think about it much because that seemed\u00a0 like what you were supposed to do. I got married with quite a bit of debt and over the years we paid it off and built a nice life for ourselves and our three kids.

When I started budgeting for our family I discovered that finances didn\u2019t have to be full of shame and guilt. I felt empowered that I knew exactly where our money was and felt confident we could meet unexpected expenses. It was a huge weight off our shoulders. Since I discovered this love of personal finance and of helping people I became an Accredited Financial Counselor\u00ae so I could help other people ditch the shame, guilt and stress that often comes with finances. I would love to help you too!
